Rocky's Plaice at Crystal Palace Holiday Club

1st to 5th August 2011

Not even the rain could spoil the Holiday Club this year. With an average of 90 children  per day and 121 children taking part sometime during the week, the club proved to be a very successful and happy time. Lots of smiling faces, singing with actions, lollipops during break times, fun drama (although no-one would want to eat the food from Rocky's Plaice!) and good attention during the talks.

Thank you to everyone who prayed and supported the Crystal Palace Holiday Club. The children had a great time. A Fun Day is being organised in September - more details to follow.

Community Garden at Holy Trinity

6th August 2011

Another working party took place on Saturday and a second raised bed is in place. There is still a lot of digging of weeds necessary, so if you feel like some exercise, then come along with your tools (you don't need access to the church) anytime and make a difference. Members of Meeting Point are already enjoying the produce from the first raised bed.

Kaleidostrings hit the right note

12th March 2011

The four professional musicians of Kaleidostrings provided another inspiring evening. It was such a warm, friendly, uplifting evening, with a very appreciative audience.

During the interval supper was provided and pronounced to be delicious!

The acoustics are splendid in this beautiful church.  Look out for next year's concert in 2012 advertised on this site.

Striking a chord for the Heart Appeal

5 February 2011

Tim Boniface Many thanks to everyone who joined in our Jazz Cafe evening in  aid of Holy Trinity's Heart Appeal.  The church was filled with  the wonderful sound of classic swing favourites, courtesy of our  very own Tim Boniface and his band.  We raised over £500  towards our building projects.
