Crèche and Sunday Time
We have a crèche and Sunday Time children and young people’s groups available during most 10.30am Sunday services.
We want you and your children to enjoy being with us, so please do what is right for you. Please feel free to bring your child along to the crèche or Sunday Time at any time during the service, and if it would help to settle them, you are welcome to stay. If your child will not settle in the crèche or Sunday Time, or if you would like to keep them with you during the service, please do so.
There are toys and colouring paper/pencils available at the back of the church, and a small table and chairs if you would prefer to sit at the back with them.
All our crèche and Sunday Time workers have been CRB checked.
Crèche
The crèche is available in the lounge, at the end of the far corridor. This is available for babies and children not yet ready to attend Sunday Time. The crèche is open throughout the duration of the Service. Please feel free to bring your child along at any time.
Sunday Time
Our Sunday Time children and young people’s groups run during the 10.30am service during term time, usually split into the following age groups:
Ages 4-7
Ages 8-11 (Year 6)
Year 7– Age18
In Sunday Time, children and young people hear about a theme or story from the Bible to help them learn and understand more about the Christian faith and the community of the Church. Their session includes something practical and at the end of the service the children tell or show us what they have been doing.
Children attending Sunday Time join the first part of the service and leave for Sunday Time after the first hymn.
All-Age Services
All-Age Services are held on the first Sunday of each month. These are designed to be suitable for everyone. The crèche is available during the service, and families with children are welcome to leave the service before Communion and, if they wish to, join the crèche in the lounge. If children become restless during the service, please feel free to take them to the crèche.
